How to get from the Birmingham airport to the city centre?

Birmingham Airport is at the heart of the UK motorway network and is directly connected to Birmingham International Station by a free 'Air-Rail Link' system. The air-rail link takes two minutes to get to the station. You can also avail of taxis and bus service.

Taxi: The official Black taxi supplier to Birmingham Airport, transports passengers to the city centre in about 20 minutes. Just pick up one of the Black taxis from outside the main terminal. Expect to pay around £30-£40.

Bus: There are currently three National Express WM bus services that access the Airport and/or Birmingham International Station. Bus passengers can reach the Airport via two stops: directly onsite at the Airport Terminal, or at Birmingham International Interchange via the Air-Rail Link. Tickets can be purchased on the bus service, and cost £2.

Trains:Birmingham Airport is directly connected to over 100 towns and cities via Birmingham International Station and the free 'Air-Rail Link' monorail system. The Air-Rail Link takes two minutes to get to the station and operates between 03:30 and 00:30 hours daily. Between 00:30 and 02:00 hours, there is a courtesy bus in operation.
